Jesse Shkolnik is a Commercial REALTOR® Senior Advisor with Equity. Jesse considers himself a Commercial Generalist having experience working in all categories of commercial real estate. While he’s worked the most on retail and office properties, Jesse has completed many transactions for industrial, investment, land, and residential properties. Through his career, he has worked with local, regional and national clients, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Jesse’s transaction list as a landlord and tenant representative includes deals completed with Cricket Wireless (30+ locations), Sola Salons, US Dept. of Veteran’s Affairs, McDonald’s, Sri Venkateswara Temple of Central Ohio, GoodVets, Summit Home Health Care Corporate, and Connected Pathways Early Learning Centers. Through his career, Jesse has been heavily involved with the Columbus Realtors and more recently with the Ohio Association of Realtors and CCIIR. In 2015, he was elected to the Columbus Realtors Commercial Advisory Board and was voted chair for 2017. Jesse was an appointed member to both the Columbus Realtors and Ohio Realtors Board of Directors and Columbus Realtors Foundation Board of Trustees in 2017. He was elected to a full 3-year term on the Foundation Board of Trustees starting in 2018 and a second term starting in 2023. Also in 2023, He served as President of the Columbus Commercial Industrial and Investment Realtors (CCIIR) organization. Jesse was elected to the Columbus Realtors Board of Directors as the Commercial Representative for a two year term starting in 2025 and was subsequently appointed to the Ohio Realtors Board of Directors. Jesse has been recognized throughout his career for both his work as a Commercial Realtor and for his volunteer efforts within the real estate community. He was named the Columbus Realtors Commercial Rookie of the Year in 2011 and to the YPN Top 10 Under 40 List in 2017. He has received awards for transactions including the Columbus Realtors Largest Retail Sale and 1031 Exchange in 2016, and Largest Office Lease in 2023. Jesse received his biggest honor in 2024 when he was named the Columbus Realtors Salesperson of the Year. Jesse joined Equity in 2014 after starting full-time in commercial real estate at LGR Realty in 2009. He began working in commercial real estate as a college intern with Plaza Properties in 2006. Jesse is a 2009 graduate of the College of Business at Ohio University in Athens.
