Equity Welcomes Jaimine Johnson as a Managing Director, Brokerage

[Columbus, Ohio] – Equity is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jaimine Johnson as a Managing Director, Brokerage. With an impressive background in commercial real estate spanning nearly two decades, Jaimine brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success to her new role, which is set to focus on advisor recruitment and expansion of brokerage services.
Prior to joining Equity, Jaimine served as the Director of Commercial Operations, Leasing, and Sales for DRK, where she played a pivotal role in developing and implementing long-term strategies for the commercial asset division. Her leadership resulted in the management of over $225 million in assets, with a remarkable focus on driving revenue and increasing overall business profitability.
During her tenure at DRK, Jaimine maintained a stellar 97% tenant occupancy rate while significantly increasing outside listings by 83%. She was named a 2023-2025 Columbus Realtor Directors winner; she was awarded a 2-year Commercial Realtor-At-Large Position from 2023 to 2024 on the Columbus Board of Realtors Board. Jaimine has also been elected to be on the 2024 Commercial Advisory Board and has joined the Ohio REALTORS® in 2024 Strategic Planning Committee. Her dedication and strategic vision were further recognized through numerous accolades, including being named among the “Top 20 to Know in Real Estate” and “Top 20 Women in Business” by Columbus Business First, as well as one of the 10 Most Successful Businesswomen to Watch in 2022.
Jaimine’s extensive experience extends beyond her time at DRK, having served as the first vice president of Colliers Healthcare Real Estate Group and as senior vice president of commercial real estate at Huntington National Bank. Her contributions to these organizations earned her recognition as a Costar Power Broker in 2014 and her placement in the “Top 100 in Real Estate” for 2021.
